I didn’t want to just throw this in the midst of anniversary posts, so I waited until today, but yesterday also marked one year since we moved into our brand new house. On our 16th wedding anniversary, we were moving furniture, driving all day, utterly exhausted. Worth it. Moving into a brand new house of our own was something we had been dreaming about together since we were 18.
At least a few times per week, still, one of us will say to the other “I love our house.” There is no taking it for granted, not after all it took to get here. Happy happy.

My husband are sick and tired of living in apartment complexes! We have been looking around for houses for sale lately...
